Key features and construction challenges
This post-war home had seen several disjointed renovations, but our rear extension brought light, cohesion, and comfort. A soaring cathedral ceiling and double-glazed windows now anchor the back of the home, improving natural light, energy efficiency, and acoustic control.
We preserved the original façade, updated the lower level with new finishes and ducted air conditioning, and created a seamless connection to the backyard with a generous new deck—elevating both everyday living and long-term functionality.
