An experienced JDL Construction team member will work with you to select a design that suits your families lifestyle whilst blending in with your existing home. Once the design has been selected we will fine tune the minor details and present you with a preliminary budget estimate.
Things we need from you in stage 1 are copies of your council drainage plans, existing drawings of the property (if available) and your design brief.
For an initial price of $3500.00+ GST we will complete the investigation of your site and start developing the technical design and documentation for your new extension.
A preliminary site report includes -- Soil Testing.
Things we need for stage 2 is for you to arrange your finance, we can help introducing you to an independant mortgage broker.
Your contract is now completed and ready for signing. The documentation will include -- Working Drawings.
On signing of your contract a deposit of 10% is required. To prepare for your selections we will arrange a visit to our display center located in Chermside. One of our selection team members will help you select paint colours and finshes ie. floor coverings, tiles, bathroom fixtures etc.
We will then lodge your building approval and application.
At this stage we will make the final preparation for commencment of contruction. Orders will placed with our suppliers and contractors for all the materials and services required to build your new extension.
You will be introduced to your building supervisor who will liase with you throughout the construction process and ensure that your extenion is built as per the building specifications and scope of works.
Prior to completion of your new extension your supervisor and one of JDL Constructions directors will meet you for the practical completion walkthrough and arrange an appointment to hand over the keys to your new extension.
